Event Details
In this course, an expert from NoveList will share practical principles for incorporating accessibility and diversity, equity, and inclusion fundamentals in promotional material. Learn how to strategically and intentionally create promotions that will engage all community members. You’ll leave this two-hour interactive session with a deeper understanding of the importance of this work, as well as tools to ensure your promotional materials meet accepted accessibility and DEI standards.
Learners will understand:
- How to identify effective strategies for codifying accessibility and DEI principles in library promotions.
- How to make digital and print promotions accessible to all community members.
- How to apply the principles of diversity, equity, and inclusion to promotions.
- How to value accessibility and DEI as a critical part of the overall library mission.
