Multi-day In-person conference | September 11 - September 14, 2024
Apply for an opportunity to attend the Association of Rural and Small Libraries 2024 Conference. Deadline for the application is July 15.
Registration fees will be covered by CALL. Attendees are responsible for arranging their own hotel and travel. Pending funding, travel support may be available. If funds are available, attendees may qualify for up to $1,000 in reimbursement for transportation and hotel, following guidelines.
#ARSL2024 is the conference for rural and small libraries. Our conference planners and presenters understand the constraints of shoestring budgets, small spaces, and limited staffing within small and rural libraries, as well as the unique opportunities for innovation and collaboration. Our conference is packed full of information you can take right back to your library—no scaling down required.
This year’s conference theme is “Libraries are (r)Evolutionary.” Our conference provides an opportunity to explore the transformative power of rural and small libraries in our communities. Like chrysalises of change, these libraries nurture revolutionary ideas and evolve to meet the ever-changing needs of our patrons.
