The Library at Braille Institute is part of the National Library Service and connected with the California State Library. They serve people of all ages who are blind, visually impaired, or cannot read standard print.
They would like to partner with libraries to provide free books, machines, digital access, and expertise in accessible technology. Your library may serve families with members with print disabilities including dyslexia, who could benefit from these services. This webinar will provide information about the services you may find beneficial to some of these patrons. The webinar will be on Monday, March 10th from 10-11:30 A.M. online. If you plan to attend, please RSVP by Monday, February 24th to receive the webinar link.
The Library at Braille Institute believes in everyone’s right to read. Your library can work together with them to effectively advocate for disability justice.
