This training teaches participants why and how to coach the people who report to them. They’ll learn fundamental coaching principles, be introduced to a simple framework for coaching, and even have a chance to practice applying their new skills. This work is based on the teachings of mindfulness, compassionate communication, and social justice.

Presenter: Itzel Berrio Hayward was a successful attorney with over a decade of legal experience when she made the career move to coach, in 2010. Since then, she has shared leadership skills, conflict resolution skills, communication skills, and stress management techniques with groups and individuals around the San Francisco Bay Area and nationwide. Much of Itzel’s work is focused on harmonious and effective relationships and workplaces and is based on the understanding that all people have the capacity for empathy and seeing each other’s full humanity.
