Through this workshop, we will examine how conflict occurs in the workplace between co-workers, with leadership or management, as well as with customers/patrons. As we work through developing our understanding of the phases of a conflict, we will gain knowledge, skills, and self-reflexivity for thriving during a conflict. Together, we will learn how conflict is a necessary aspect of effective communication and examine characteristics of conflict, strategies to address conflict, and how to avoid unproductive conflict.

- Increase self-awareness and understanding.
