WebinarProgram Description
Event Details
Join us as we examine the complex conversation of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and consider how to ethically engage with AI in our library workspaces. Through examining our personal and professional ethics, we will explore how, if at all, we can define ethical uses of AI and technology. As AI continues to advance and increasingly impact our world, we are faced with questions about how the library can best support the public in maintaining high-quality information literacy skills. While some of us may be fearful, nervous or have unanswered questions about AI, through this workshop we will gain transferable communication skills to use in future interactions.
Webinar objectives:
- Understanding AI
- Examining individual and professional ethics of using AI
- Considering future uses and complications in the workplace
