In-PersonProgram Description
Event Details
This 3-hour, hands-on (in-person) intensive is designed to help public library workers conquer their fear of public speaking and sharpen their communication skills.
Ready to swap your “shushing” skills for show-stopping speeches?
Through real-time activities, engaging exercises, and supportive feedback, you’ll gain the confidence to present with poise — whether it’s Storytime, a community presentation, or a professional conference.
But wait, there’s more! Before we meet in person, we’ll gather for a virtual pep talk on Zoom. Think of it as a pre-game huddle for your nerves — you’ll get practical tips on calming those jitters and embracing your inner speaker. No overdue anxiety here — just a renewed voice, a few laughs, and the confidence to take the mic.
Ready to speak up? Your audience (and your library) will thank you!
