Event Details

In this webinar, neurodivergent librarian Jen Conway will discuss neurodivergence, what it is and isn't, and how you can be a better coworker and ally. This also provides recommendations for supervisors on some ways to provide accommodations.

Learning Outcomes:

By the end of this webinar, attendees will:

  • Have a better understanding of what it means to have neurodivergent coworkers and what they need and don't need; and
  • Know what managers can do to promote a better work environment for neurodivergent workers.

Who Should Attend: This is geared toward anyone looking to improve their workplace for others, especially managers.

Presenter:

Jen Conway received her MSIS from University of Tennessee Knoxville. She is a neurodivergent cataloging and metadata librarian. In her professional life, she has faced challenges in environments that were not always supportive. Because of these mixed experiences in the workplace, she seeks to help others understand how to provide a supportive work environment.
