WebinarProgram Description
Event Details
We are excited to invite all California library workers to an information session about the 2024-2025 Catalyst leadership development program. Catalyst is designed to equip California library workers with development opportunities that support leading from everywhere. This no-cost program is brought to you by California Libraries Learn (CALL), which is a joint project of the California Library Association and California State Library.
The Catalyst program will last for a total of 18 months. During the first 12 months, participants will be part of a cohort that meets both online and in-person to learn, reflect, and work on projects that apply their new skills and ideas. After the first year and the completion of a final project, the cohort will continue to meet on a monthly basis for an additional six months to deepen their learning, network, and reflect on their experiences. (Note: Activities beyond the first 12 months are contingent on funding being available for the second year.)
During this information session, you'll learn more about the Catalyst program. We will provide information about the application process, eligibility, and tips on how to apply. The Information Session will also cover the many benefits of participating in Catalyst, including learning experiences that build skills like effective communication, mentoring, and a strong network of peers to help you grow and feel confident as a leader.
We want to make sure you have all the information you need, so there will be plenty of time for questions at the end of the session. Whether you're a seasoned library worker or just starting out, Catalyst is a valuable opportunity that you won't want to miss. We hope to see you there!
