In this training, library staff will learn how to evaluate their spaces to keep both themselves and patrons safe. Find out what changes, big and small, can be made to public spaces to reduce incidents to their lowest common denominator.

Rick Jenkins runs Safer Libraries Consulting, a company created out of 15 years of work as a Lead Security Officer at a major urban library system, and dedicated to the training of compassionate de-escalation practices.
