Do you want your library to increase circulation, visitation, and programming numbers in an effective way? This interactive workshop will teach you the fundamentals every library needs to create goal-based, measurable, successful library promotions. Attendees will leave with the skills necessary to create a marketing strategy customized to their library using proven practices.

Learners will understand:

  • How to conduct a SWOT analysis activity to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats to a library’s promotional plan.
  • How to set SMART goals to focus and guide promotional decisions and ensure marketing success.
  • How to create target audience personas for focused, engaging promotional content.

Presenter: Angela Hursh is the Engagement and Marketing Manager for NoveList. Angela’s background includes more than six years as the Content Team Leader for the Public Library of Cincinnati and Hamilton County and more than 20 years as an Emmy-award-winning broadcast television news journalist.
