Event Details
None of us could have imagined these past years of pandemic and more, but here we are. Given what we have been through, it is natural to feel a mix of emotions from exhaustion to hope and so much more. This is simply part of being human. But so is compassion – our ability to be aware of suffering and to respond with care and concern. Neuroscience shows that compassion is both an innate quality and a capacity we can deliberately train. As we cultivate compassion for ourselves and others, we are better able to respond to, integrate, and grow from life’s challenges. Compassion training can reduce stress, anxiety, and depression, and enhance our connection with others. It builds our capacity to engage with our own and others’ difficult experiences from a place of understanding and respect.
This interactive workshop will explore how compassion can help us continue to move forward with courage as individuals, families, colleagues, and communities.
This webinar is part of the Compassion series.
