The session will provide a brief overview of key news literacy strategies and explore how they can be applied across disciplinary content.
Successful collaborations between librarians and faculty featured in the pair’s edited book, News Literacy Across the Undergraduate Curriculum, will be highlighted as a way of offering real-world examples of effective collaborations between college librarians and faculty. The session will conclude with an interactive discussion where attendees can brainstorm and share ideas for implementing news literacy content at their own institutions.
