Event Details

Squash the ideals of extroverted, outgoing, or charismatic leadership by combating the idea to be a model leader you have to be loud. Quiet or introverted leadership challenges the extroverted norms and expectations by promoting a healthy and successful working environment through modesty, humility and action. Learn to focus on individual aspirations and talents, inspiring others through guidance and encouragement, and working with what you have rather than fighting the mold.

By the end of this webinar, participants will:

  • Become knowledgeable of stereotypes that plague quiet leadership
  • Learn how to accept who you are and what leadership qualities best fit you, especially tailored to those who identify as an introvert
  • Discover qualities of leadership of compassion and understanding
  • Learn how work environments can collaborate and inspire

Nearly everyone is encouraged to attend, but emphasis is given to those who are introverted or those who are extroverted and seek to learn more about their introverted colleagues. Emerging, middle, or senior librarians and library staff in leadership or aspiring to be in leadership who are naturally introverted. Introverted staff who seek to understand themselves and others and vice versa, extroverted leaders who seek to understand introverted leaders and staff.
