Program Description

Event Details

Did you know that every state has a free talking book library to serve the print-disabled? In California, there are four such libraries that serve patrons with low vision or blindness, reading and learning disabilities, or who struggle to comfortably hold a book. Let us help you support eligible patrons (we can help determine eligibility) once large print isn't big enough or they need assistive technology to keep reading and learn to enjoy books in a new way.

Join Morgan Pershing from Braille and Talking Book Library in Sacramento and Melissa Rodriguez from Braille Institute in San Diego to learn about our services and how we can work together to make reading accessible for all!
