 day, hands-on workshop taught by UCLA Library’s Book and Paper Conservat
 or, Nicole Alvarado. Participants will spend the first hour and a half lea
 rning about proper book handling procedures and examining bound materials.
  This will be followed by hands-on practice performing basic repairs such 
 as hinge repair, minor spine repair, tear repairs, and tipping-in loose pa
 ges.Due to the hands-on nature of the workshop, attendance is limited to 1
