 n by co-creating with their communities.\r\nIn this participatory workshop
 , you will test and give feedback on draft ideas and materials co-develope
 d by a previous cohort, and develop your own new insights. Your engagement
  will help create a long-lasting tool that will have an equity-enhancing i
 mpact on libraries and communities throughout California.\r\n \r\nAll lev
 els of experience and all roles are welcome.\r\n \r\nPresenter:\r\nDr. Au
 drey Barbakoff is a passionate public library leader, consultant, speaker
 , and author. She has over a decade of experience as a librarian and manag
 er in public libraries, ranging from a tiny rural library in Connecticut t
 o a 50-branch system in Washington state. Her innovative library work has 
 been recognized by Library Journal Movers &amp; Shakers, the Kitsap Penins
 ula Business Journal &quot;40 Under 40&quot;, the Freedom to Read Foundati
 on, and the Urban Libraries Council. Holding a doctorate in organizational
  change and leadership, her dissertation research focused on building capa
 city for equity, diversity, and inclusion in public libraries through comm
 unity-led planning. This served as the foundation for her innovative CoLaB
  (Community Led Capacity-Building) process, soon to be featured in her for
 thcoming book Twelve Steps to a Community-Led Library.\r\n \r\nThis works
 hop is being offered on multiple days. Participants only need to join one 
 session.
