Participants will learn the best methods for writing successful grant proposals. Learners will gain an understanding of the crucial factors to incorporate into library grant work and be ready to initiate successful proposals. The Winning Grants Planning Tool is a very useful worksheet to aid participants in designing a grant project and identifying the necessary elements for a grant proposal.

Presenter Bio: Stephanie Gerding, MLIS, is an expert in library grants and has been actively engaged in conducting library grant training for twenty years. She teaches grant-writing courses at the University of Washington and San Jose State, and has been a lead grant reviewer of LSTA, state grants, and scholarships at two state libraries. Stephanie is the author of five books, including the ALA bestselling Winning Grants, Second Edition: A How-To-Do-It Manual for Librarians. With expertise and passion for helping libraries secure funding, Stephanie brings practical advice, valuable tips, and customized resources to her workshops and courses.
