The Annual Reference and User Services Association (RUSA) Virtual Forum is scheduled for March 5 & 7, 2024. We're excited to be in our 3rd successful year of offering an economical, virtual venue to learn about reference and user services.

The Forum Theme is: Reference Revolution: AI + More

Do you want to gaze into the looking glass of the future of reference? Join your colleagues and discover how we can incorporate artificial intelligence into the reference interview and research process. Learn how to make AI your ally when you tackle reference questions and teach users how to seek and find reliable information, whether it's a medical question or a 10-page paper! Join us and learn how to use AI as a tool for guidance or clarify!

But wait, the RUSA Virtual Forum is not just about AI! Join us for lively discussions from our sections:

  • Business Reference and Services Section (BRASS);
  • Collection Development and Evaluation Section (CODES) ;
  • Emerging Technologies Section (ETS);
  • History Section (HS);
  • Reference Services Section (RSS); and
  • Sharing and Transforming Access to Resources Sections (STARS).
  • First Year Experience Interest Group

This forum is for all types of libraries in reference, user services, adult readers advisory and collection development as well as resource sharing, genealogy and archives, business reference and reference technology.
